What we collect and why

When you request visitor access or apply for a booth, we receive the data you enter: name, company, role, work email, what you buy or make, and any links you provide. We use it only to screen the application, manage expo access, and coordinate meetings. Buyer contact data is never sold and never given to exhibitors without your action (booking a meeting or opening an RFQ room is your action).

Legal basis

Processing for steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in operating a screened business platform (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Sharing and processors

Hosting and transactional email providers act as data processors under contract, solely to run the platform and deliver notifications. EU hosting region. No third-party advertising trackers are used.

Drawings and files

Technical files uploaded into RFQ rooms live in private storage with signed, expiring links, are visible only to the parties of that room, and are never placed in public storage.

Retention

We keep application and account data as long as needed to operate your access and meet legal record-keeping duties, then delete it. You can request deletion at any time.

Your rights

Under GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing. Email expo@stratosteel.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Slovak Data Protection Authority (dataprotection.gov.sk).
